Wow, it’s been almost a month since Kai and I tied the knot! :) We held our wedding solemnisation at Hotel Fort Canning on 2 Mar 13, in the presence of family and close friends.
Got back our photos from our photographer extremely fast (and yes I mean really really fast), but we’ve been tied down with work (and starting on our customary wedding preparations!) to blog about this! So here comes a photo post. Enjoy :)
Hotel Fort Canning – one of Singapore’s more beautiful and tranquil boutique hotels.
Our make-up artist, Michelle, and hairstylist, Mark Cheng, hard at work!
We were initially given a room that had an open-concept bathtub for our make up and preparations, but decided to upgrade to one with a dedicated shower/bathtub area later on to another room so that we won’t end up flooding the floor LOL.
Room 110 – our “day-use” room, if you could put it this way.
The wonderful make-up/hairstyling team!
Our solemnisation table at the Glass House’s Jasmine Room.
I think our Justice of Peace, Dr Phua Tan Tee, cracked some joke or something.
“You must look at her in the eyes and say “I Do”, not look at me! You’re not spending your life with me!” So said Dr Phua >.<
Exchanging our rings!
And we were pronounced husband and wife! :)
My “kar-chngs” (cousins lah) from Penang! Really touched that all of them flew down specially for our wedding!
Kai and her girlfriends from university.
And of course, not forgetting my 3 “xiong-di’s”
To those who made it to our wedding, thank you for sharing this special day with us! And to those who helped out (namely my wedding team – Denyna & friends, Feng Jun & friends, Wen Tong & friends), a hugeeeee thank you to all of you too!
Of course, there’re more photos than this, but I figured I shall not clog up bandwidth or server storage space. We’ll be uploading more onto Facebook, so stay tuned!
Till then, that’s the day we got married! :)
